Welcome to Home Hideouts! I’m Jen, and this is the story of how I turned my passion for interiors into a brand that celebrates individuality and mindfulness.

As I navigate life in London with my little dog, Peanut, I’ve discovered that creating a home is about much more than just décor - it’s about feeling at peace and nurturing our well-being. As a single, childless woman approaching 40, I often felt the weight of societal expectations - questions about marriage, children, and the 'right' path in life. During a particularly challenging time, I took a step back and reflected on what truly mattered to me.

I realised that instead of conforming to external pressures, I needed to create a home that reflected my values and aspirations. I began exploring mindfulness practices like meditation and journaling, and I incorporated these into my daily routine. The journey of self-discovery not only helped me understand and celebrate my own identity but also inspired me to establish Home Hideouts - a space where I could encourage others to embrace their unique paths and cultivate environments that support their journeys.

Establishing Home Hideouts has given me a newfound direction and ignited dormant passions in life. My mission is to empower others to transform their living spaces into unique sanctuaries that reflect their own stories and inspire further personal growth.
