I’m Jen, and I’m excited to share the story behind Home Hideouts—a brand born from my passion for interiors and a commitment to helping others improve their homes.

Living in London with my little dog, Peanut, I’ve come to realise that creating a home is about much more than just décor; it’s about fostering peace and nurturing our well-being. As a woman approaching 40, I often felt the pressure of societal expectations regarding marriage, children, and the so-called "right" path in life. During a particularly challenging period, I took a step back to reflect on what truly mattered to me.

This journey led me to explore mindfulness practices like meditation and journaling, which have become integral to my daily routine. As I searched for furniture that embodied my love for mid-century modern style, I found it increasingly difficult to locate unique pieces that struck the right balance between quality and accessibility. Many options felt either too high-end or too generic, leaving me frustrated with the search.

Inspired by this experience, I established Home Hideouts—a space where you can find beautifully curated furniture and décor that is not only functional, but also elevates your home and feeds your soul. We aim to offer pieces that maintain an exclusive and stylish feel whist trying to ensuring there’s something for everyone. As a small business, we are continually building our list of suppliers to expand our collection and bring you even more unique options and a curation of pieces that you just won't find anywhere else so you know you can rely on us for something beautiful and a little different to your main stream options.
